Resident Evil REmake was the first of an exclusivity deal signed by Capcom between Nintendo and Capcom. The deal stated that all Resident Evil games be remade for Nintendo Gamecube. Resident Evil REmake is the first of these remade games, and boasts a brand new engine. Graphics, Enemies, Characters and Locations have been beefed up for this edition of the game, and boy does it show. Lighting is 100 percent accurate, with some scenes being mistaken for movies within the game.

New Locations were also included, and these locations fit in so much, its as if they forgot to stick them into the first PSX original. These locations include new characters which help to fill more loopholes in the Resident Evil Universe, but also manages to open up new ones. Resident Evil REmake is one of the many essential titles for your Nintendo Gamecube.

Sadly, only the first of the Resident Evil Series was remade, and this lead many people into dismay and anger. You can still find petitions all over the internet asking for the other games to be remade.
